INTRODUCTION:- Tequila is distilled beverage it is made from the blue agave plant, in the city of tequila. It is well grown in red volcanic soil. Blue agave plants are grown in the Los altos region, the Abv of tequila is 38 – 55%. Tequila culture is now rising in India in Delhi, Mumbai, and the Goa region.
HISTORY AND INVENTION:- Tequila is a distilled beverage, it was made in the city tequila of Mexico state. It was first produced in 1600 Don Pedro. Sanchez de tangle started the mass production of tequila in Jalisco. By 1608 Nueva Galicia the colonial governor had begun tax on these products. In 1974 Mexican government declared intellectual property.
SMEEL, TASTE, APPERANCE, TYPES:- Tequila’s taste can be described in its flavor and variety. The taste of tequila is Honey, citrus, vanilla, oak, etc. The age of tequila makes it richer and smoother. Its aromas are sweet, spicy, and woody. Tequila has a hard texture and it looks clear, golden, or brown.

Joven
Reposado
Anejo
Extra Anejo.

CONCLUSION:- Tequila is a distilled beverage, it is a plant-based drink, it takes 8 – 12 years to grow, studies say agavin and inulin are found in tequila that helps in weight loss. Salt and lemon are used to get rid of tequilas’ sour taste. In 2018 Mexican government approved a proposal to celebrate national tequila day on the third Saturday of March.
