INTRODUCTION:- Gin is distilled alcoholic beverage. It has a hard texture while the Abv is 35 – 60%. It has some attractive flavors and is distilled as much as vodka. By the influence of the foreign market, India is producing gin in India with the flavor of Nagpur oranges, gondhoraj, etc.

HISTORY AND INVENTION:- Gin is originated as medicinal liquor by European monks. For centuries Romans burned juniper branches for purification. In Europe juniper is used for cough, cold, pain, stains, etc. In Gin act 1751 distillers sell only to licensed retailers.

SMELL, TASTE, APPERANCE, AND TYPES:-
Gin is a clear distilled spirit with some flavors juniper, flowers, dried fruits, it has a hard texture that is why it is used for cocktails. It has a hard scent, and the pine-like taste comes from juniper berry.

○ London Dry Gin
○ Ply mouth Gin
○ Navy Strength Gin

FAMOUS BRANDS:- Gin is the spirit, it has a very hard texture that is why it is mixed with cocktails. Some famous brands are:-

CONCLUSION:- It is a distilled beverage, we can say this is flavored vodka. Gin was used as medicinal liquor in Europe. Gin is not designed to be a drink neat, the pairing of gin and tonic is to works well against his bitter tastes. In 1823 gin was the most popular drink in London in winter.
