Bikrampura Vihara is an ancient Buddhist monastery located in Bikrampur village of Musiganj district of Bangladesh.
This monastery was built by Dharmapala of the Pala Empire during his reign, Atita was an important figure of Tibet Buddhism, during whose time this area was the center of knowledge of Buddhist education, and from Nepal, Thailand, Tibet 8000 students, and professors used to come here to study.
Archaeological excavation and research in Bikrampura Vihar on 23 March 2013 announced this 1000-year-old discovery and 100 idols have been found. And this excavation was financed by the Government of Bangladesh.
