MEADS – THE BOOZY TALES

INTRODUCTION:- Mead is a fermented Honey water Alcohol beverage it is made with various flavors like Fruits, grains, spices, etc. ABV (Alcohol by Volume) in mead is 3.5 % to 18%. Sometimes wine is used in synonym of mead. The Abv Of mead is 8 to 20%, many peoples like mead just because of its taste is like fermented honey and nobody likes the sour taste of drinks, that’s why many people replace whiskey, rum with Mead.

HISTORY AND INVENTION:-  Mead is also called ‘Nectar of Gods’. It is made in ancient times in Greek, China, Egypt. But it is drunk in India some 4000 years ago. 

TASTE, SMELL, APPEARANCE, TYPES:-  Mead tastes like honey but is not a sweet beverage. Sometimes it can taste spicy, fruity. Mead is smelled like Beer or Wine. When sometimes it is added with other ingredients like fruits and spices it changes the taste.
